   Personal Data is any information about you that is personally identifiable such as your name, address, age, gender, phone number, contact details, billing information and email address, PIN Code or IT PAN Number, Importer Exporter Code Number, other similar information that is not otherwise publicly available.

   Financial Data is any financial information such as particulars of your annual reports, revenues, shipping expenses, bank account and credit card numbers, insurance policies, credit ratings or any other financial information provided by you during the course of use of the website or auction process.
4. Shipping Data
   Shipping Data is all information and particulars relating to a proposed shipment or cargo such as the shipping and destination city; delivery address; product descriptions, volume and quantities; product classifications and codes; Customs, Excise, Commercial Tax Registration Numbers and other Regulatory information; the date and time of the shipment, any trans-shipment requirements, special size or delivery or transportation requirements etc. Information Collection and Storage

(i) shipX collects and stores a combination of Personal Data and personally identifiable information including Financial Data, demographic profile, preferences and interests, favourites and opinions ONLY as a part of a voluntary registration process or in subsequent on-line survey or other voluntary submission of information in course of use of the web site. You may stop such use or collection of such information by terminating the registration with us. However shipX will not be responsible for the retention, use or privacy of the Data obtained by a paid user who accessed the shipX website prior to such removal.

(ii) The Data gathered on the shipX website may be shared within the shipX affiliated companies in order to deliver the services offered to Shippers and Service Providers or in order to undertake analysis of our database such as aggregate profiling of our registered users. "Affiliated companies" means entities that control, are controlled by or are under common control with Transtech Logistics Pvt. Ltd.
   3. (iii) shipX will collect Shipping Data and particulars of the cargo and your comments and opinions on services received.
   4. (iv) shipX may also collect information indirectly when you use certain third party services available on shipX.
   5. (v) shipX services include bids and offers for provision of services and public areas such as chat rooms or bulletin boards. Any information submitted for disclosure in the public areas and the Booking/Offer/Bidding process shall become public domain information and we retain no control over the use of such information.
   6. (vi) shipX will collect traffic information from you when you visit the shipX website. shipX will also collect information about the pages you visit/access, the links accessed from the site and the number of times any links/pages are visited.

5. IP Address, Cookies and Web Beacons
   shipX uses your IP address to help diagnose technical problems and to administer the web site. shipX also uses cookies to enable recognition of returning customers and better administrate the repeat functionality and improve the user experience of our web site.
6. Use of Information
   
   1. (i) Personal Data will be used for verification or delivery of services and communicating with you, for providing other users with your contact details to enable them to contact you as part of the transaction on the shipX website and for notification of service updates, unless any of the same has been opted out by you. Your Personal Data may also be utilised for processing shipment request and for shipment administration.
   2. (ii) During the shipment administration process, Shipping Data collected from all Shippers registered with shipX will be communicated to the Service Providers registered with shipX or in accordance with any special instructions or options selected by you. Disclosure of this information is necessary to correctly process a shipment request and for the bidding and offering and booking process. Personal Data will be shared with other parties only for the purposes of processing shipment requests and eliciting bids and booking and shipment administration and improving the services provided on the shipX web site.
   3. (iii) shipX may disclose Information to third parties whom shipX employs to perform functions on its behalf such as Web servers, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, processing credit card payments, and providing customer service. These persons may have access to your Personal Data as necessary to perform their functions, but they shall not share such information with any other third party.
   4. (iv) shipX shall not use your Personal Data, Shipping Data or Financial Data for any reason other than for completing a transaction arising out of your use of the services provided by shipX or as authorised by you under the Online User Agreement.

(v) If you have provided consent for shipX to do so, shipX may also use the information gathered on the website to inform you of other products or services available from shipX or affiliated companies or to contact you about your opinion of current products and services or potential new products and services that may be offered.
   6. (vi) shipX has some areas on the website where you can submit feedback. Any feedback you submit becomes the property of shipX, and shipX can use such feedback (such as success stories) for marketing purposes or to contact you for further information.

However, we may use or reveal general statistical information not personally identifiable on an aggregate basis such as number of visitors to our website, number, volume or value of shipments etc.

(ix) shipX may disclose Personal Data, UserID history, fraud complaints, and bidding and listing history without a subpoena in response to a verified request by law enforcement, government officials or other persons relating to a criminal investigation, economic offences or alleged illegal activity.

(x) shipX may also disclose Personal Data in response to subpoena, court order or substantially similar legal procedure or in good faith as we in our sole discretion believe necessary or appropriate in connection with an investigation of fraud, intellectual property infringement, piracy, or other unlawful activity.
7. Security
   shipX has implemented commercially reasonable and appropriate physical, electronic and managerial security measures and procedures for the protection of information against loss, misuse and alteration of the information under shipX control. Access to shipX Website is restricted by the use of a Username and password and/or use of certified digital signatures. shipX utilizes a firewall to block unauthorised access to the shipX system. However, shipX cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat those measures or use your personal information for improper purposes.
8. Disclaimer
   While shipX follows the standard industry practices and takes all reasonable security measures to protect the personal information under our control, information may be disclosed through any unlawful or unauthorised access or regulatory environment and measures or interception of transmissions or private communications and other users and third parties may abuse or misuse your personally identifiable information that they may collect from the website while participating in the bidding or booking process. We disclaim all liability for error in transmissions and unauthorised access or interceptions, abuse or misuse by third parties and other users.
