    shipX can be used by any shipper, whether it is manufacturer, retailer or a distributor. shipX can manage logistics operations for your primary as well as secondary transportation. shipX would help you to efficiently transact with all your transporters.

    Of course. shipX would help you plan shipments and you can save on your freight cost. You can consolidate shipments based on various criteria and plan the route.

    Yes. shipX can automatically tender loads based on contracts, carrier capacity and various other factors. This would significantly reduce your operational cost and provide more time window for transporters for vehicle placement.

  6. 6. Can I use shipX for all my spot freight procurement needs?
    Yes. You can specify complete quote request. Your request will be sent to set of transporters that you want to deal with, based on the capabilities of the transporter. Every quote request will not be sent to every transporter. For each transporter, we can define the lanes they operate, services they offer, type of trucks they provide etc. shipX would send quote request to only those transporters who provide the service required in the region.

     Yes. You can define contracts on shipX. shipX would use the contract information for load tendering, generating invoice and for various other operations.

  8. 8. I am a shipper and I would like to use shipX to collaborate with my transporters. Do transporters need to install shipX on their systems?
     No. shipX is a completely web based application provided on SaaS (software as a service) model. shipX would enable login for your transporters to access simple to use portal for efficient collaboration.

     No. shipX is a completely web based solution. No installation is required by you or your customers or vendors. shipX can provide login to your customers as well as vendors for efficient collaboration for logistics operations.

  10. Some of my vendors are not computer savvy. Can they use mobile phones ?
    Yes. shipX can notify your customers or vendors using SMS. Your customers or vendors can also provide updates using SMS. shipX also has a mobile component where in specific events can be recorded by logging in to shipX mobile application.

Depending on the user role within organization, users will have visibility to data for one branch, multiple branches or for all branches of the company.
